MPI104_2008 Assessment

I have seven posts on my blog. I have links to my flickr account, my del.icio.us account, Anne Geddes website, start aid, simpy, reddit, one of my photos from my Canning Stock Route trip and a html elements. I haven't really changed the layout of my blog as I like it the way it is - I have changed some of the font colours. I have used  a template. I have commented on three other peoples blogs.  I have 30 websites bookmarked in del.icio.us. Lots of these are photography sites that I like. Other ones include things that I use on a daily basis such as commbank, facebook, google, ing etc. I have 25 images in flickr. 16 are mine, 9 are from other people's flickr accounts and from the web in general. The sources are listed in the descriptions. We have looked at templates, HTML, CSS, accessibility, and google applications.

Templates

CSS makes it easy to change the layout of your webpage without having to do as much coding as you do in html. You can change things like font styles, colours, size etc. You can also change your background and add images. 

I haven't actually changed any of the colours or anything in my blog. I played around with it a bit but I prefer the colours as they are.

Week 4 - flickr

This is a link to my flickr account. I think flickr is a great way of sharing photos with family and friends but I'm not sure about having everyone see them and being able to copy and paste your photographs. It is a great site for getting ideas and inspiration. Here is a link to a photo I took of a man's pet snake in Alice Springs.

Addition to week 3

I am a first year student studying BA(Photography) at Wagga CSU. I am interested in photography associated with weddings, children and travel. One of my favourite photographers is Anne Geddes
